Myfi yw'r Adgyfodiad mawr
Myfi yw'r Atgyfodiad mawr

(Yr Atgyfodiad a'r Bywyd)
Myfi yw'r Adgyfodiad mawr,
  Myfi yw Gwawr y bywyd;
Caiff pawb a'm cred,
    medd f'Arglwydd Dduw,
  Er trengu,
      fyw mewn eilfyd.

A'r sawl sy'n byw mewn ufudd gred
  I Mi caiff drwydded llefol,
Nad allo angau, brenin braw,
  Ddrwg iddaw yn dragwyddol.

Yn wir, yn wir, medd Gwir ei Hun,
  Pob cyfryw ddyn sy'n gwrando
Fy ngair gan gredu'r
    Tad a'm rhoes,
  Mae didranc einioes ganddo.

Yr hwn sy'n ffyddlawn ufuddhau,
  Trwy ffydd, i'm geiriau hyfryd,
Ni ddaw i farn,
    ond trwodd f'aeth,
  O angau caeth i fywyd.

Mi wn, medd Job,
    o'r cynfyd cudd,
  Mai byw'm Gwaredydd hawddgar:
Mi wn y daw fy Mhrynwr drud
  Ar ddiwedd byd i'r ddaear.

Ac er fy mod i'n awr mewn poen,
  Ad wedi 'nghroen, i'r pryfed
Ddifetha hefyd gy nghorph hwn,
  Er hynny gwn caf weled.

Y Duw anfeidrol, yn fy nghnawd,
  A'r ddydd gollyngdawd seintiau:
A'm llygaid i fy hun a'i gwel
  A'r dirion uchelderau.

Ac medd Sant Ioan, a fu'sai'n nês
  Â'i ben ar Fynwes Iesu,
O wỳnfydedig entrych nef
  Mi 'glywais lef yn traethu.

'Sgrifena, O hyn allan mai
  Gwỳn fyd y rhai a fu feirw
Yn ffydd yr Arglwydd, gwỳn eu byd
  O'r glân ddiwedd-bryd hwnnw.

Felly dywaid yr Yspryd Glân;
  Can's maent yn diddan orphwys
Oddiwrth eu llafur, mewn rhyddhâd
  Dedwyddol 'stad Paradwys.

Na fyddwn anobeithiol drist,
  Am neb yn Nghrist a hunant,
Medd Paul; o'r corph
    maent gydag Ef,
  Yn nghartref y gogoniant.

Os credwn, fel na ddyg ond hûn,
  Yspryd ein dŷn at seintiau;
Mewn enyd bach cawn
    ninnau hûn,
  A'n dwg i'r un trigfanau.

(The Resurrection and the Life)
I am the great Resurrection,
  I am the Dawn of life;
All who believe me, shall get,
    says my Lord God,
  Though they die,
      to live in another world.

And those who live in obedient belief
  To me shall get vocal access,
Nor shall death, a terrible king, be able
  To draw to himself eternally.

Truly, truly, says Truth Himself,
  Every such man that hears
My word while believing the
    Father who sent me,
  Has a deathless life.

The one who faithfully obeys,
  Through faith, my delightful words,
Shall not come to judgment,
    but through he has gone,
  From captive death to life.

I know, says Job,
    from the hidden primeval world,
  That my amiable Deliverer lives:
I know that my dear Redeemer will come
  At the end of the world to the earth.

And although I am now in anguish,
  And after my skin, the worms
Will destroy also this body of mine,
  Despite this I know I shall get to see

The immeasurable God, in my flesh,
  The day of the relief of the saints:
And my own eyes shall see it
  And the gentle heights.

And Saint John says, who was nearest
  With his head of the Breast of Jesus,
From the blessed firmament of heaven
  I heard a voice declaring.

Write, From now onwards that
  Blessed are those who were dead
In the faith of the Lord, blessed
  From this holy latter time.

Thus says the Holy spirit;
  Since they are in pleasant rest
From their labour, in the happy
  Freedom of the state of Paradise.

Let us not be hopelessly sad,
  About anyone in Christ who sleeps,
Says Paul; out of the body
    they are with Him,
  In the home of the glory.

If we believe, as sleep only brings
  The spirit of our man to the saints;
In a little while we ourselves
    will get sleep,
  And be led to the same dwellings.
